Freight Action Plan for Kent

The report advised that the Borough Council was being consulted on the recently developed Freight Action Plan for Kent, which had been reported to the Joint Transportation Board in March 2012, and was now presented for endorsement.
Following consideration by the Planning and Transportation Advisory Board, the Cabinet Member for Planning and Transportation resolved that:
The Kent County Council's Draft Freight Action Plan generally be endorsed by the Borough Council, subject to emphasising the importance of addressing overnight parking issues.
Reasons: As set out in the report submitted to the Planning and Transportation Advisory Board of 16 May 2012.
